Laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy (LSG) is a restrictive bariatric procedure that is associated with GERD as a side affect. Because the fundus is removed during LSG, patients are not candidates for fundoplication and most patients undergo revision to a roux-en-Y gastric bypass. Here we present the placement of the MSA device for GERD in a patient with a previous LSG.
