Kunoor Jain-Spangler
Associate Professor of Surgery and Fellowship Director
Duke University
Durham, NC
My main areas of clinical interest are bariatric surgery, revisional bariatric surgery, foregut surgery, and bread-and-butter general surgery, specifically hernia and gallbladder. I have also done quite a bit of work in equity, diversity, and inclusion at my institution, as well as in bias, and how it affects trainees and faculty. I have done a lot of learning in the last year, and am really interested in using restorative justice techniques in the surgical world to improve communication and culture.
