The SAGES Train the Trainer Virtual course empowers surgeons to be better teachers in the OR. The course includes interactive scenarios, facilitated discussions, and practical training sessions all conducted live via Zoom. Participants are better able to provide a structured teaching experience and performance-enhancing feedback to their learners, which can aid in difficult situations.

Course Objectives
- Improve and standardize the quality of teaching technical skills to surgical learners,
- Apply a standardized training paradigm to promote independence in the OR while maintaining safety.
What is Included?
The student:faculty ratio is 2:1 for this course. Only 6 participants total are allowed per course.
SAGES will ship you a laparoscopic trainer box and instruments to use during the course. Participants in the course will receive unlimited invitations to participate in reunions with other past TT participants via Zoom.
The cost of the course is $1,499 per attendee, paid at the time of registration. A waitlist will be made available when the course is full. No refunds will be given after February 16, 2024.
