As a provider accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), SAGES must ensure balance and independence in all of its accredited educational activities.
**NEW** The ACCME expects individuals involved with CME to disclose ALL financial relationships with ineligible company in the past 24 months. An ineligible company is defined by the ACCME as:
“those whose primary business is producing, marketing, selling, re-selling, or distributing healthcare products used by or on patients.”

The ACCME does not consider providers of clinical service directly to patients to be ineligible companies. There is no minimum threshold; we ask that you disclose all financial relationships, regardless of the amount, with ineligible companies. You no longer need to disclose for your spouse/partner.
