Fundic gland polyps account for up to 5% of gastric lesions found during upper endoscopy. Our patient required chronic PPI use and a large fundic polyp was resected prior to sleeve gastrectomy. A retained clip was found in the projected staple line. Endoscopic guidance was incorporated to create a generous sleeve and maintain symmetry. No complications occurred and the patient achieved successful weight loss at one month.
