In this case, we examine the operative management of an 83 year old female urgently presenting with a strangulated femoral hernia. Laparoscopic repair using a transabdominal preperitoneal approach is demonstrated. Subsequent laparoscopic resection of the strangulated small bowel segment is performed utilizing intracorporeal anastomosis.
