Esophageal epiphrenic diverticulum can at times pose a difficult surgical challange. Large size, positioning within the right chest and other specific conditions can make a solely abdominal approach infeasible. This case report describes a case of a patient with a large epiphrenic diverticulum mostly postioned within the right chest that was managed with a combined robotic-assisted thoracocscopic and laparoscopic approach.
