Necrotizing, infectious pancreatitis is a difficult condition to manage. Minimally invasive techniques are preferred when operative intervention is required. We report the use of the pancreatic step-up necrosectomy technique in an 80 year-old male with idiopathic necrotizing, infectious pancreatitis. We were successful in this management and report our results in video format, demonstrating an interesting and gratifying debridement.
