The Department of Surgery at the MetroHealth System, a major teaching affiliate of Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, is seeking a full-time academic Bariatric and Metabolic Surgeon at the Assistant Professor Level to join our Bariatric Surgery Program. You will work under the direction and mentorship of the Program Director, Sergio Bardaro, MD, FACS, FASMBS, DABS-FPMBS.
We are searching for an individual with a passion and empathy for caring for patients suffering from morbid obesity. Candidates should have the appropriate comprehensive skill set, a strong track record of delivering high-quality care, expertise in minimally invasive surgery and endoscopy, and commitment to management of obesity and metabolic disease using a multi-disciplinary team approach.
Qualifications:
- Board eligible or Board-certified General Surgeon with fellowship training in Bariatric Surgery and laparoscopic, robotic and endoscopic procedures
- Commitment to education and training of medical students, residents and fellows
- New grads are encouraged to apply
