Endoluminal Huge Rectal Polyp Resection by Colonoscopic snare assisted TEO

The development of laparoscopic surgery has provided minimally invasive surgeons with advanced laparoscopic instrumentation and high definition imaging. The resulting surgical expertise and technology has now been extended to endolumenal surgery.

Transendoscopic Microsurgery (TEM)

Colonoscopic view. This is the Colonoscopic view of a previously made TEM resection of a rectal big villous adenoma one month ago. In this surgery, I used plastic 5mm Hemoclips instead of recommended silver clips. Note the clips that are not sloughed yet.
