Indocianyne green (ICG) was introduced to laparoscopic surgery to improve anatomical information, it may be ussed for perfusion assessment, lymph node mapping or vascular and biliary anatomy. We present 4 cases of upper GI cancer, in the first 3 cases perfusion assessment with ICG was performed, demostrating good and poor blood flow. The last case is a sentinel lymph node mapping using ICG for early gastric cancer. ICG injection with near infrared fluorescence imaging may aid surgical decision making in upper GI cancer resections.
