Chronic post-operative inguinal pain (CPIP) can be debilitating for patients and remains a challenge for surgeons to manage. This video demonstrates a laparoscopic retroperitoneal triple neurectomy for a patient with CPIP who has failed multiple prior interventions including nerve injections, medications, open exploration and laparoscopic tack removal following a total-extra peritoneal inguinal hernia repair with permanent fixation. Highlighted in the video are the important anatomic landmarks for a retroperitoneal triple neurectomy of the iliohypogastric, ilioinguinal, and genitofemoral nerves.
