Video Illustration of technique of laparoscopic incarcerated obturator hernia repair. The patient was a 81 years old female with a chief complaint of thigh pain for 48 hours. She had a history of previous colectomy. On CT scan she was found to have a left obturator hernia. She was taken to the operating room for laparoscopic repair. Small bowel perforation was observed during the hernia reduction. The hernia was completely reduced and the hernia sac excised. A custom Vicryl mesh was used to close the defect and peritoneum was used to cover the repair
