Peutz-Jeghers syndrome is a rare disorder which might present as an intussusception in the emergency warranting a bowel resection if delayed treatment.
Enteroscopic polypectomy using conventional techniques, is a feasible option but very little economic development has been made about the same in most parts of the world, it also needs expertise in advanced GI endoscopy, which might not always be available in an emergency.
In this video series, we describe how intra-operative enteroscopic polypectomy can be performed using laparoscopic instruments, which are widely available at almost every centre. The nuances and the technicalities of the surgery are highlighted in the video.
