Sabrina Drexel
Minimally Invasive Surgeon
Northwest Minimally Invasive Surgery
Portland, Oregon
I am a fellowship trained general surgeon who specializes in advanced robotic abdominal wall reconstruction. I finished general surgery residency at OHSU in 2019 and Minimally Invasive Surgery & Flexible Endoscopy fellowship at University Hospitals in Cleveland in 2020. I am in private practice in Portland, Oregon. I specialize in cutting-edge robotic hernia repair, and have taught these techniques nationally through the SAGES Adopt courses. Besides advanced hernia care, I also perform interventional endoscopy, including POEM and POP. I enjoy teaching, and am clinical faculty for the OHSU residents. I often take emergency general surgery call and am a mother of two young girls (ages 3 and 2), and strive to find the right balance between career goals and family life.
