This video demonstrates the colonoscopic view of a lipoma of the transverse colon on a haustral fold. The lesion is manipulated with an endoscopic grasper to demonstrate the normal overlying mucosa, and the sub-mucosal location of the lesion. Pressure applied to the lipoma indents it, the “pillow sign”. A biopsy may show only the overlying mucosa. Joshua Bowles, MD, J Andres Astudillo, MD, Jose Martinez, MD
