I am an academic surgeon and assistant professor in Kuwait University. I have completed my residency in general surgery at McGill University in Montreal, and complete fellowships in MIS and in Bariatric Surgery. My practice is based in a large academic and public hospital, and focuses mainly on hernia surgery and abdominal wall reconstruction, foregut, and revisional bariatric surgery. We also offer medical and endoscopic treatments of obesity. I have served as the program director of surgical foundation residency program. I was invited to present at multiple national, regional, and international conferences on hernia surgery, bariatric surgery, and medical management of obesity.
