I enjoy speaking about the following topics:
Surgical management of GERD. I perform robotic hiatal hernia repairs, and perform surgeries including c-TIF and LINX. I can discuss approaches to evaluation.
Bariatric surgery, I am the Bariatric surgery fellowship program director. Particular speaking topics have included endoscopic management of eroded prosthesis including gastric band and Fobi bands.
Surgical endoscopy. I have had talks on abnormal findings within the esophagus and my management. I perform POP, POEM, and ESD for submucosal lesions
Gastroparesis management and the treatment algorithms including POP, pyloroplasty, gastric stimulation, and gastric bypass.
Surgical education and simulation. I am the Surgical Director for our residency simulation education program.
