I am an assistant professor of surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center. I completed an advanced GI/MIS fellowship at Ohio State University with emphasis on bariatric and foregut surgery. My current practice involves robotic foregut, bariatric, and abdominal wall surgery. As a trainee, I have presented my research at SAGES academic sessions. As a faculty, I have been a part of the Foregut Masters Series, ADOPT: dominating the hiatus. Additionally, I have moderated sessions at SAGES and given an invited talk on GERD after bariatric surgery. My current research interests include the use of artificial intelligence in foregut and hernia surgery.
