Dr. Majumder is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Washington University in Saint Louis / Barnes Jewish Hospital. He completed his residency training at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center with two years of research in the lab of Dr. Yuri Novitsky focused on abdominal wall reconstruction. He then completed an Advanced GI/MIS and Abdominal Wall Reconstruction Fellowship at Wash U and stayed on as faculty in the Section of Minimally Invasive Surgery. He is currently the Co-director of the Washington University Hernia Center and primarily practices complex hernia repair at a tertiary / quaternary hernia referral center. He maintains a busy clinical practice with further interests in OR Sustainability, Surgical Education, and Robotic Surgery.
