I work at the University of South Florida as an assistant professor of surgery. My practice is heavily weighted towards Gastroparesis and complex Foregut pathology. In combination with the University of South Florida we have created one of the first multidisciplinary centers for lower GI dysmotility that includes GI surgeons, Gastroenterologist, Dietitians, and Psychologists. As one of the first graduates from a Foregut fellowship in the US I am passionate about Foregut and all it's related pathologies. Currently my research is focused on Gastroparesis and the care of this patient population but I have authored over 50 peer reviewed papers on various topics as well.
