With overall surgical experience of 35 years, I am practicing exclusively bariatric surgery for last 12 years. I am a member of bariatric & metabolic surgery committee of SAGES and also the Scientific Chair of WCES2024 Kolkata. I was chairman of the bariatric grand debate during Annual meeting of SAGES2021, though I could not attend in person due to Covid19 related travel restrictions.
