I am a community general surgeon with a practice focused on minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic surgery. My clinic interests include all aspects of general surgery with a special interest in hernia management and prevention. I am also passionate about incorporating plant-based diets and exercise in optimizing patient outcomes after surgery. I was born in the former Soviet Union but grew up in Northern New Jersey. I completed a combined B.S./ D.O. program through the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine followed by a general surgery residency at the Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY (now NYU Langone Brooklyn). I also did a 1 year fellowship in minimally invasive surgery at Princeton Healthcare in Plainsboro, NJ. I currently practice at the Valley Health System in Ridgewood, NJ.
