I am Professor and Chief of the Division of Minimally Invasive and Gastrointestinal Surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin. I completed an MIS fellowship at Ohio State in 2002, and have practiced at the University of Wisconsin and the Medical College3 of Wisconsin. I am a foregut surgeon with a large clinical experience in reoperative and complex MIS/Lap/Robotic surgery. I have held multiple leadership roles locally at UW and MCW and nationally through societies such as ACS, ASMBS, Central Surgical, and SAGES. I attained my MBA from Brandeis University in 2020. I have oversight for surgical quality at our 5 hospital health system, and have served as NSQIP champion for our hospital since 2014. I am interested in speaking on my clinical interests, leadership, leading and building diverse teams, and surgical quality and outcomes.
