I am originally from Argentina, and fluent in Spanish and English. I completed my Minimally invasive surgery fellowship training in 2006. I am the Division chief of Minimally Invasive and Bariatric Surgery at Tulane Department of Surgery in New Orleans. Part of my training included esophageal motility and motility disorders of the esophagus and stomach. My clinical practice revolves around all aspects of minimally invasive surgery including robotics and endoscopic surgery, specifically advanced bariatrics, foregut and hernia surgery. I am also the Surgical Director of the simulation lab for general surgery residents at Tulane.
