I am a Bariatric, MIS, and Robotic fellowship-trained surgeon at a community hospital in Charlottesville, VA. In my role, I serve as the Director of Bariatric Surgery at this facility as well as at one of our other Sentara hospitals as well. I also function as the Director of Robotic Surgery and started our program from scratch in 2021.
For Bariatrics, I primarily perform laparoscopic and robotic gastric bypass, sleeve gastrectomy, and SADI-S as well as revisional bariatric procedures and prescribe weight loss medications.
My General Surgery practice consists of bread & butter cases including cholecystectomy, inguinal/ventral hernia, and paraesophageal hernias.
