I am a bilingual foregut and bariatric surgeon. I Completed my general surgery training in 2015 and Advanced GI MIS fellowship at OHSU in 2016. I am currently and assistant professor at the University of Oklahoma in Oklahoma city. I have experience in both community and academic surgery. This has allowed me to present grand rounds at academic centers, community multidisciplinary conferences and international conferences such as Congreso Mexicano de Cirugia General.
My interests and passions are speaking about changing the surgeon’s personality and promoting a healthy wellbeing. I am also passionate about Foregut, PEH, Bariatric, Bariatric revisions and surgical education.
I actively participate on several SAGES committees (Community Surgery, DEI, FLS).
