SAGES Got Talent (the Sing-Off evolves!)

Did you previously participate in SAGES Sing-Off? If not, have you wondered how you
get on that stage? Are you interested in participating in the Sing-Off evolution, “SAGES
Got Talent”?

If so, please read on!

SAGES Sing-Off started in 1998. We took a hiatus in 2010 and again in 2024, but we’re
back for SAGES 2025 in Long Beach with a slightly evolved concept called “SAGES
Got Talent”!

SAGES Got Talent will take place during the Friday night main event at the Long Beach
Aquarium. Up to 5 acts will be selected to perform that evening for 3-5 minutes each,
taking no more than 35 minutes of the 4-hour overall evening event. We will, of
course, end the evening with our Japanese colleagues singing “We are the World, We
are the SAGES!”

RULES

  • At least one participant of each act must be a SAGES member
  • You must be able/available to perform live on Friday evening, March 14
  • You will be responsible to submit a background track (if needed) and/or lyrics;
live band instruments may or may not be available.

To enter SAGES Got Talent:

  • Submit the name of your group, title of your act/song and approx. number of
    participants using the form below.
  • Submit an audition video of what you intend to perform on March 14. If the
members of your group do not live in the same area, be creative
  • Submissions must be received by January 15, 2025, for review by the esteemed SAGES
    Got Talent judges.
  • If chosen to perform live, you will be notified via email by February 14, 2025.
  • SAGES Got Talent judges will review the videos and determine the March 14, 2025
    performers based on:
    • Originality, Creativity, Diversity, Enthusiasm and Fun!
    • You do not need to be a Las Vegas act to perform.
  • All audition videos will be played online and in the video loop room at the annual
    meeting.
