The Humanitarian Committee has initiated two volunteer opportunities with local Nashville nonprofits – the Renewal House and the Nashville Rescue Mission. SAGES members and their families will have the unique opportunity to provide service in the host community. Renewal House “Celebrating Families” Luncheon

Renewal House is Nashville’s first, largest and most comprehensive family-centered recovery community for woman and their children. Since 1996 more than 650 mothers and their children have experienced new beginnings. Volunteers will help host the “Celebrating Families” luncheon and provide participants with small gifts.
Registration is limited to 15 participants. Lunch and transportation will be provided to all participants.
Nashville Rescue Mission – Preparing and Serving Lunch

The Nashville Rescue Mission offers food, clothing and shelter to homeless families. They serve over 770,000 meals per year and provide more than 330,000 nights of safe shelter. For more information on the organization, please visit their website: www.nashvillerescuemission.org
Volunteers will assist with preparing and serving lunch to women and children residing at the Women’s campus. SAGES will also donate small gifts to the Family Center.
Registration is limited to 15 participants. Volunteers must be at least 10 years old to participate. Lunch and transportation will be provided to all participants.
