OVERVIEW
Software development firms are invited to submit a proposal, in accordance with the attached Request for Proposal (RFP), to the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES) for a system to host and deliver SAGES Video Based Assessment (VBA).
The SAGES VBA program will assess a learner’s competency by measuring the actions taken in a video against a pre-defined rubric. The VBA will be available to learners through a user-friendly delivery system that allows multiple user types to upload procedural videos as well as review and score those videos using a built-in assessment form.
This Request for Proposal (RFP) provides interested software development firms with sufficient information to enable them to prepare and submit proposals for consideration by SAGES. The successful proposer will provide a canned, off-the-shelf system that will facilitate the process of submitting videos for assessment, reviewing and rating submissions, tracking and sending assessment results and feedback, reporting and integration of partner systems.
