Dr. Bradley R. Davis is an Associate Professor of Surgery and Vice Chair, Surgical Education in the Department of Surgery at the University of Cincinnati. He holds the Ethicon Endo Surgery Chair for Surgical Innovation and is the Director of the Surgical Simulation Program at UC. His responsibilities included coordinating all educational activities in the Department and in addition to functioning as the Program Director for the General Surgery Residency he has oversight over the seven other GME programs within the Department. He is a member of the Chairman’s Advisory Group and is a current member of the University of Cincinnati’s College of Medicine’s Graduate Medical Education Council. He is a practicing colon and rectal surgeon with board certification in General Surgery, Surgical Critical Care and Colon and Rectal Surgery. His research interests are both clinical and in the realm of surgical education. He has extramural funding from the Department of Defense as the Principal Investigator to study the impact of non-technical skills on the performance of Critical Care Air Transport Teams during simulated air evacuation missions. His clinical interests focus on minimally invasive treatments of colorectal disease.
