Devil`s in the Details: Robotics - Robotic eTEP Ventral Hernia Repair Component Separation
Robotic surgery brought a new perspective to AW surgery for the last years. The possibility to safely and comfortably explore the extraperitoneal spaces for ventral repairs was a tilting point. Robotic eTEP became a common tool for AW reconstruction, but reserved some technical details that may pose a real limitation for its adoption. We will have the rare opportunity to watch an expert group of surgeons presenting and sharing real life expertise and technical pearls.
- Identify the proper indications and pre-operative steps for robotic eTEP repair.
- Employ safe technical pearls to accomplish an adequate and effective robotic eTEP repair.
- Predict and adequately execute a robotic posterior component separation.
