Pancreatic and biliary diseases have poor prognosis and their diagnosis and management remains a challenge to clinicians despite new developments in diagnostic techniques and therapeutic options.
This one-day symposium highlights the role of multidisciplinary approach including the new developments in endoscopic and radiologic imaging and surgical approaches to pancreatic and biliary diseases. We will review the newest advances in oncology to pancreatic cancer. The course will address new developments in the treatment of neoplastic and benign esophageal disorders, both endoscopic and surgical approaches. The assessment, diagnoses, and management of neuroendocrine tumors will be reviewed as well.
