SAGES Robotics Course for Fellows
February 8-9, 2018 – Atlanta, GA
It gives us great pleasure to extend this invitation, on behalf of SAGES, for all incoming and Fellowship accredited minimally Invasive Surgery Fellows to participate in a robotic surgery training course.
This two day course is designed to introduce fellows to robotic general surgery. SAGES faculty and experts will teach both didactic and hands-on skills in robotic surgery. A broad range of robotic procedures will be covered with the emphasis placed on system set up, instrument selection, and technical approaches. At the end of the course, MIS fellows will become familiar with current and future robotic technology by emphasizing safe and practical applications in general surgery cases. This course is designed for MIS Fellows who are currently participating in programs where robotic surgical systems and general faculty with robotic privileges are both available.
