Multidisciplinary management of cancer is evolving, treatment
algorithms are increasingly complex, involving care by surgical
oncologists, radiation oncologists, radiologists, and medical
oncologists.
This workshop will highlight the multidisciplinary approach and
current national and international guidelines for these complex
diseases, including guidelines that have been published
within the past year, in an effort to further the discussion on
optimal patient care and the importance of multidisciplinary,
high-volume care. The intent is for clinicians attending to be
able to better develop multidisciplinary programs at their own
institutions.
