ABOUT: The Medical College of Wisconsin Department of Surgery is pleased to host the 2023 Advances in Minimally Invasive General Surgery Symposium. The symposium will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at MCW-Green Bay. The aim of the symposium is to familiarize the audience with the current status and future directions of diagnosis and treatment for hernias, morbid obesity, and biliary tract, esophageal, stomach, and metabolic diseases. Speakers include faculty experts from MCW Surgery and invited guests speakers Shanley Deal MD (Virginia Mason Franciscan Health), Jeffrey M. Marks MD (Case Western Reserve University), and Michael B. Ujiki MD (NorthShore University HealthSystem).
