Since the Laparoscopic Revolution began in the early 1990s, we have continued to perform more complicated procedures using a laparoscopic approach. For several years now, advanced pancreatic procedures have been approached laparoscopically with a great deal of success. We are presenting a case of a patient with a history of chronic pancreatitis secondary to alcohol abuse. Her radiographic finding show a greatly enlarged pancreatic duct, suitable for a Puestow procedure to help alleviate her chronic pain. This video displays the technique used for a totally laparosocpic Puestow procedure. After a thorough literature search, we believe this is the first report of a Puestow procedure performed laparoscopically without robotic assistance.
