The incidence of esophageal adenocarcinoma is increasing rapidly in the western world. The treatment of the early esophageal cancer (high grade dysplasia & intra mucosal carcinoma) are esophagectomy or esophageal preserving techniques. We present a modified endoscopic technique (circumferential mucosectomy) previously descriped by Job BA & Inoue H.
The video also demonstrates a novel technique of utilizing an Over-the-Scope stent covered with biologic matrix along with systemic steroids in order to reduce stricture formation after sleeve mucosectomy.
