The minimally invasive approach has become the prefer method for removal of benign lesion of the adrenal gland. With the recent interest and popularity of single incision surgery, many procedures have been adapted to satisfy this demand.
We present our first experience with single incision left adrenalectomy in a patient with hyperaldosteronism. In this video abstract we point out several key components about this technique and showed that similar results to conventional laparoscopy can be obtained.
Single incision adrenalectomy is a complex but feasible procedures in experience hands. Further studies are needed to evaluate the outcomes and benefits of this approach.
