Median arcuate ligament syndrome (Dunbar syndrome or celiac artery compression syndrome) is caused by compression of the celiac artery by the median arcuate ligament and celiac plexus resulting in post-prandial abdominal pain and weight loss. The diagnosis can be made by cross-sectional angiography and duplex ultrasonography. Treatment involves surgical decompression of the celiac artery. In this video, we present a case of median arcuate ligament release performed robotically and discuss the technical considerations and advantes of the robotic technique.
