A robotic-assisted laparoscopic approach for release of median arcuate ligament has been described in small case series in the literature with comparable outcomes to conventional laparoscopic approaches. Surgeons may hesitate to adopt this approach due to concern of prolonged operative time from robot docking. Our institutional experience has demonstrated the robotic-assisted approach to be advantageous in providing improved visualization of posterior structures and easier access angle with the articulated instruments, both of which resulted in significantly reduced operative time. In this video we will present a case of a female patient with median arcuate ligament syndrome undergoing surgical release with a robotic-assisted approach.
