We submit the case of a 40-year-old female who presented to our institution with significant weight gain after remote roux-en-y gastric bypass. A diagnostic workup revealed a redundant small bowel overhang at the gastrojejunal anastomosis that likely facilitated excess caloric intake. She was subsequently taken to the operating room for sucessful resection of the jejunal overhang.
