Endoscopic full-thickness resection (EFTR) of GI tract lesions permits accurate diagnosis and definitive management while avoiding more complex surgical procedures. Traditionally the full-thickness resection is performed first, followed by closure of the defect with clips or endoscopic suture. More recently over-the-scope clip-assisted methods of securing the defect prior to lesion resection have been described. Here we demonstrate over-the-scope clip-assisted full-thickness resection of a duodenal bulb neuroendocrine tumor.
