Since sleeve gastrectomy has gained popularity, so has the incidence of GERD resulting from the procedure. Often time weight loss improves the symptoms, but there are some patients where the symptoms don't resolve. Surgical options are controversial, and we show here how we manage these complicated patients with a hiatal hernia repair, resection of redundant fundus, and conversion to bypass.
