A 61 year-old male patient with wall-off pancreatic necrosis(WOPN) requiring debridement in the lessor omental bursa was evaluated. Debridement was performed via a laparoscopic transgastric approach using 3 ports. The duration of operation was 150 minutes. Control of the necrosis was achieved via the single procedure without postoperative complications. Laparoscopic transgastric necrosectomy is a novel, minimally invasive technique for the management of pancreatic necrosis. (With Video)
