Our case is 64 year old African American female with a solitary liver lesion (colorectal origin) at segment IVB. She underwent laparoscopic intrahepatic Glissonian approach resection of segment IVB. The procedure was done with no complications.
The main advantage of the intrahepatic Glissonian procedure is the rapid and precise access to the Glissonian sheath facilitating segment oriented liver resection.
