This is a 34-year-old woman who presented to the emergency room with upper gastrointestinal bleeding due to a giant submucosal gastric tumor. She was 25 weeks pregnant. Two months after her C- section a laparoscopic resection of the tumor was performed. The patient recovered without complications. Laparoscopic resection of submucosal gastric tumors is feasible and safe, even in those lesions with important compromise of the gastric wall.
