We present a case of laparoscopic resection of an intramural gastric spleen in a 58 year old male with a remote history of splenectomy for trauma. This lesion masqueraded as a gastrointestinal stromal tumor. To our knowledge, this represents the only reported case of either gastric accessory spleen or intramural gastric splenosis.
