We present a case of a Bochdalek hernia in an adult containing chronically-incarcerated stomach and omentum. Due to significant adhesions between the hernia sac and left lung, a wedge lung resection was required in order to reduce the hernia, which was accomplished via a transperitoneal approach. Following this, the defect was successfully closed with a suture repair and reinforced with prosthetic mesh.
