Laparoscopic Abdominal Wall Reconstruction with Transversus Abdominis Release

This is a case presentation of a laparoscopic abdominal wall reconstruction with transversus abdominis release. Patient is a 65 year old male with an 8x12cm subxiphoid defect after esophagectomy one year earlier. Myofascial subcutaneous release and closure of the defect with mesh reinforcement is completed intracorporally with posterior rectus sheath and transversus abdominus releases.
